Match Report – Aldeburgh – 2nd May

Braintree Sea Angling Club members battled strong winds and rain in the first half of their latest match at Aldeburgh and few fish were caught.  When the tide turned and the weather improved a few more fish were caught.  For the second match in a row Paul Drake took first place with his catch of 15 whiting and 2 pout for 153 fish points.  Second place man Barrie Senior also had 15 whiting and 2 pout but slightly smaller for 139 fish points.  Robin Joy was third with 3 whiting,  2 pout and a codling for 71 fish points.  This latest win puts Paul ahead of Robin by nine match points in the yearly league.
