Match Report – St Osyth – 7th June

Half a dozen Braintree Sea Angling Club members travelled to St Osyth for their latest match hoping to catch one of the elusive stingrays that visit parts of the Essex cost at this time of year. Alas it was a disappointing match no stingrays and only two anglers found fish the other competitors fed the crabs which were stripping the hooks of bait in 10 minutes. The winner was Robin Joy with three small bass and a fine 54cm eel for 89 fish points. Runner up was Alan Porter with three bass for 60 fish points.
